We’ve all heard the saying “winners never quit, and quitters never win.”

False.

Winners quit all the time…

The most successful business owners I know quit:

  • draining, toxic relationships…
  • services they don’t like fulfilling (trying not to use “draining” twice…)
  • team members that aren’t moving the project forward…
  • tasks and behaviors that aren’t useful…

…and a bunch of other stuff.

They don’t say yes to every idea, whim, meeting, or event. They quit doing that a long time ago.

Last weekend at a mastermind in Toronto, Stu McLaren said “if you’re tolerating anything in your business…. stop doing it.”

It gave me pause…

What do I need to stop doing?

(stop working through lunch, stop checking my phone first thing in the morning, stop worrying about what other people think… the list goes on).
